Long ago, King Solomon valued [heart] intelligence more than any other imaginable gift. Jewish tradition teaches that when he had finished the construction of the Temple in Jerusalem, God offered him any reward he would name. Solomon asked for a lev shamaya, a wise heart. According to these traditions, it would seem to me that Solomon's intelligence was a heartfelt, intuitive, spiritual intelligence.
