This 2006 film written by Zach Helm is a spiritual delight that can be savored again and again. Fans of this drama about an IRS clerk whose life is turned upside down will enjoy being able to read the entire script. In the foreword, director Marc Forster observes:

"At the heart of Stranger Than Fiction is one man's journey of awakening to the true nature of his existence. Harold Crick is a metaphorical sailor who sails out into the bay of his life. At a certain point the wind rises, the shoreline disappears, and he is blown into the open sea. He becomes filled with fear, pain, and desperation. All seems lost, but when the winds subside and the waters grow calm, he has become the kind of man who is able to navigate his way back to shore. In a sense, all of us are seeking a way to return to the shore of our lives in order to find meaning and experience true awareness."
