Antoinette is a poodle who is a late bloomer in her litter. Her three brothers have already come into their own spunk and spark: Rocky is clever; Ricky is fast; and Bruno is strong. But their sister still hasn't got a clue as to what she was good at. Antoinette is happy that at least her mother believes in her and says, "You have something extra special. I can feel it in my bones!"

Every day the family goes to the park in Paris where other dogs can chase biscuits, balls, and butterflies. When a puppy is missing from all the frolicking, not even her three capable brothers with their skills can solve the mystery.

Using her nose, Antoinette sniffs sidewalks, street vendors, and sign posts. All the hugger-mugger of the city can't distract her from her mission. Her heart is also in action as she saves Ooh-La-La, the missing puppy from a perilous fall at the city's museum.

Kelly DiPucchio is the author of this delightful children's book aimed at boys and girls from ages 4 through 8. Along with the award-winning illustrator Christian Robinson, she vividly conveys the streets of Paris as an area where Antoinette discovers her fearlessness, patience, and perseverance in saving the lost puppy. By the story's end, she has become a heroine who fulfills her loving mother's forecast.
