Jesus' ethical teachings did not depart from those of Judaism. His bottom line was unconditional love for others and faith in divine love, which guides and protects us. Nor should we worry as we're led and loved by God. All will be well. Jesus' teachings were devoid of legal prescriptions. He saw his role as educational and inspirational. He sought to promote the concept of Judaism as a universal teaching valuable to all humanity.
