In the New Testament the apostle Paul writes to the Romans:

"Love one another with mutual affection; outdo one another in showing honor. . . . Contribute to the needs of the saints; extend hospitality to strangers. Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them. Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep." (12:10-15)

This is an attitude of our minds and feelings that is a step beyond what we are used to calling "morality." This is divine love.
