This cassette presents this eighty-year-old woman's distinctive vision of creativity and spiritual politics. Richards looks back on her experiences as a teacher at Black Mountain College, an experiment in higher education during the 1950s. She also discusses her participation in Camphill, a biodynamic farming community where 40 developmentally disabled people live and work alongside 80 other men and women. Richards comes across as a spirited elder who is centered, adventuresome, and open to new challenges. Her creativity has infused everything she's done as a lifelong learner, a teacher, a potter, a painter, a poet, and a writer.
