A garden is an ideal household project to practice nurturing. Learning about the plants' needs, planting, watering, weeding, pruning, and dealing with pests teaches worthwhile lessons about patience, discipline, obstacles, hope, vision, and transformation.
Set up a study club. The idea is to meet regularly with others — preferably eight to ten people — to talk about something you have researched. Rotate responsibility for making an original presentation and answering questions afterwards. Study clubs encourage us to grow together in community and to continue our search for depth and meaning.
