The Prophet said: The best of men is he who is best to his wife, and the best of women is she who is best to her husband. With all his responsibilities as a spiritual leader and the head of the Muslim community, Muhammad made his own bed, sewed his own clothing, and actively participated in the chores of his household. Using a beautiful image, the Prophet also said, "They (your wives) are your garment, and you are a garment to them." That is, men and women complete and support each other in their marriage.
