In a rough sense Confucianism deals with one's political, moral life; Taoism with one's private life; and Buddhism with the after-life. Confucianism is a set of ethical principles, whereas Buddhism and, to some extent, Taoism have specific religious practices. Together the three religions radiate a positive, joyful attitude toward life, a sense of balance and a feeling of eternity.
