We have the opportunity to listen to those who are different from ourselves, and we also have the opportunity to pay attention to the deepest truths of our own being. Meditate upon these continually repeated refrains from the Qur'an and become more available to listen to the life stories, and sometimes even the anguish, of those who are different from you.
